Move over Birdman, the biggest baller on the block may just be Mr. Eric Clapton! 

The singer-songwriter’s Patek Philippe Platinum 2499 watch is set to hit the auction block, with many experts speculating that the timepiece could fetch as much as $4 million.

It’s one of only two 2499s in platinum and the only one in private hands, representing quite possibly the pinnacle of Patek Philippe timepieces. It was sold at auction in 1989 for approximately $253,300 and Clapton got it 10 years later for an undisclosed price.

Available as part of Christie’s Important Watches auction on November 12 in Geneva, the pre-sale estimate for the watch is between $2.7 and $4.2 million. Stay tuned for further news when this amazing timepiece hits the block.
