As we say goodbye to Thanksgiving, “Sleigh Ride” is one of those perfect songs to bring in the jolliest of holidays – Christmas!
And The Ronettes‘ 1963 Christmas carol “Sleigh Ride” is given new life with a dope rendition from Karmin. While the classic is simply wonderful, the duo’s 2012 version encompasses Amy’s knack for spitting bars on just about anything.

When it came to doing this “Sleigh Ride” cover, Amy & Nick said via Ryan Seacrest:
“We were looking for one that we thought nobody had done or over-covered and then we also wanted to find one that we could put our little Karmin reggae twist with rapping on. And that was the one that worked.”
That was the one that worked indeed!
Karmin will also ring in another holiday with a performance on Rockin’ New Year’s Eve.
