Guess who smashin’ yo b*tch?

LIST: 10 Reasons Why Everyone Should Be Listening To Trinidad Jame$

Apparently, a rising Atlanta rapper named Fat Man Key is.

Last night at New York City’s Santos Party House, hundreds of journalists, hip-hop heads, and label record executives packed into what most hipsters consider to be “heaven,” to see Atlanta rapper and overnight sensation Trinidad Jame$ perform in the Big Apple for the very first time.

While most of us music journalists were betting on hearing horribly dull and awkward opening acts, we got quite a surprise with a performance by Fat Man Key.

NEW MUSIC: Trinidad Jame$ “My Type Of Party (Remix)”

Confident in his music, Fat Man Key held the crowd’s attention with his catchy, bitch-stealing track “Guess Who.”

With lines like, “Big key that’s me n*gga/bitch gone that’s me n*gga/I was rockin golds in 03′ n*gga/Prada frames a G n*gga,” Fat Man Key may be the next Atlanta rapper to “blow up” virtually overnight.

Could 2 Chainz, Future, Trinidad Jame$, and now Fat Man Key be the key players in resurrecting Atlanta’s once thriving hip-hop reign?

It may be too early to tell, but one thing is for sure, these Atlanta cats are on to something.

Fat Man Key most recently released a mixtape, Mothers Are The Blame, which comes with a disclaimer that reads:

“Mothers Are the Blame is a reflection of life – the good, the bad, the real and life in Atlanta. Disclaimer: Everything you hear has happened. Creative hood shit”
