At New York’s Norwood Club last night, Details magazine hosted a cocktail party to launch the latest menswear collaboration with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, better known as the CFDA.

A collection of limited edition pocket-squares was made by ten different designers who have all at one point either been honored by, or been a part of, the CFDA.

All the squares have been screen printed by hand and will cost $100. Some of the standout pieces may be the American flag pocket square by John Varvatos, or the patchwork square by Tommy Hilfiger, or even the simple white one featuring Thom Browne’s signature red, white, and blue bordering the square.

Pocket squares have become a necessity in the modern man’s wardrobe. “It’s an easy place to start; you can wear one without looking too over-the-top,” Details editor Dan Peres told Style.com.

We have always loved the elegant simplicity of the pocket square and this collection gives it subtle detail, and a little bit of an edge. Check out the entire collection of pocket squares from the CFDA’s collection with Detail Magazine in the gallery above, but if you would like to pick up one for yourself, you can grab one now from the Bonobos web shop.
