We already saw the teaser for Beyoncé’s ‘Why Don’t You Love Me’ video, now the full clip has finally hit the Internet.
Directed by Melina and Bee Z, Beyoncé is B.B. Homemaker, a house wife who does it all, all while looking good. She mops floors, bakes cookies, has a green thumb, even figures out how to fix a car. But she also has a dark side. Homemaker yells to her lover (one can assume) on the phone, drinks Martinis, and smokes cigarettes, all the while asking, as the song title suggests, why the man can’t love her back. We never see the guy, but maybe he’s in the insane aslyum, which is where any man should be if they ever choose to leave out a woman like B.B. Homemaker.
Highlight: Beyoncé dusting off her 16 Grammys.
Lowlight: The cigarette smoking is not a good look, no matter how sexy the smoker.
