On 12-12-12, at exactly 12:12 PM (we’re not going to explain the drug reference) Young Jeezy dropped Its Tha World, the rapper’s latest mixtape with partner in crime DJ Drama.
It’s been seven years since the two forces dropped their classic Trap or Die mixtape, and it’s clear that neither has lost a step.
MUSIC: Young Jeezy & 2 Chainz “R.I.P.”
The project features all new, original music with beats from Mike WiLL Made It, Warren G and Jahlil Beats. Rapping alongside Jeezy is E-40, Birdman and 2 Chainz.
Along with the tape, Jeezy dropped a video for the project’s opening track “El Jefe.” The video features some vintage street images (guns, bricks of cocaine, etc.)
