Fans of the Air Jordan may remember the Thunder & Lightning pack that was released back in 2006. It came with a black Air Jordan IV with yellow highlights that was nicknamed the “Thunder” Air Jordan IV and a “Lightning” Air Jordan IV that had a full “tour yellow” upper.
When the shoes were originally released, the Thunder came with a jacket and cost $500 and of course, the numbers were more limited. The Lightning pair was $250 and came with a t-shirt.
On December 22, Brand Jordan released the Lightning pair and although they say Thunder strikes first, the shoe flew off the shelves in record numbers. It also left some collectors wondering if the Lightning Air Jordan IV would also be released.
