The Porsche has always been a prestigious vehicle that easily stands out from the other cars on the road.

Since the 911 became the go-to car of wealthy playboys all over the world, Porsche, like other manufacturers, have tried to update the car yearly to go along with the changing times and technology.

The Porsche Cayenne was the company’s first venture into a hybrid sportscar and sports utility vehicle, but it would not be the last. The Panamera would become the new go-to car for people who needed the space of the Cayenne, but didn’t want to take away from the low center of gravity that fan favorites like the 911 had. Since that Panamera was released 2009, Porsche has not made many changes to the original vehicle – until now.

During the 2012 Mondial de l’Automonile car expo in Paris, numerous critics identified the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo as the best concept car of 2012. Drawing inspiration from the Porsche 911 and 918 Spyder amongst others, Michael Mauer, Porsche style director, and Mitja Borkert, the general manager of advanced design style, were able to create a car unlike anything on the market.
