Michelle Branch hasn’t released an album since her 2003 Hotel Paper, but she’s been inching toward a comeback since late,last year. Her latest single, “Getaway” was produced by Timbaland, and is an upbeat song about wanting to escape from life’s stressors for awhile.
The super-producer appears in the music video, along with some brightly colored 3D images and soothing imagery. Michelle Branch, whose first single, ‘Everywhere’ was released during a time where young, pop rock princesses ruled the music video countdowns, is making an effort to prove that she has lasting power.
