The new year brought a bloody beginning for Chicago.
Gun control is finally being granted the attention it deserves but, unfortunately, only as a result of too many young souls that were taken too soon.
With just a little over a month in to 2013, Illinois has already had the bloodiest beginning to a new year since 2002.
Bullets with no names and trigger happy cowards are taking the lives of daughters, mothers, sisters, brothers, and fathers a like. In their honor, we wanted to dedicate this story to all 48 victims of Chicago’s January gun violence.
