Just two weeks before his death, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez sent out a tweet from his verifed Twitter account thanking his doctors and nurses for all of their care and assistence.
The hopeful tweet in Spanish read: Sigo aferrado a Cristo y confiado en mis médicos y enfermeras. Hasta la victoria siempre!! Viviremos y venceremos!!!
The tweet translates to: “I still clung to Christ and trust in my doctors and nurses. Ever onward to victory! We will live and overcome!”

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has died.
According to Reuters, Chavez was battling an ongoing severe infection due to complications from cancer.
Venezuela VP Maduro announced his death late this afternoon.
Earlier today, Madura said that Chavez’s doctors were with him and he asked the nation to pray for his recovery.
