Do the Harlem Shake!

VIDEO: Flash Mobbin! The “Harlem Shake” & Other Flash Mobs On A Plane

DJ/Producer Baauer may be Harlem shaking all the way to the courthouse, after two artists claim that the Mad Decent-signed DJ unlawfully used their samples without permission.

One of the artists claiming to be unlawfully sampled is Hector “El Father” Delgado, whose voice is used at the beginning of the track.

Hector Delgado’s manager tells the New York Times:

“We can turn around and stop that song. That’s a clear breaking of intellectual property rights.”

Baauer is also accused of unlawfully sampling Philly rapper Jason Musson’s “Miller Time.”

Currently, Mad Decent didn’t pull the licenses for either sample and will probably be in court putting up big bucks for their copyright infringement.
