A couple of hours ago, Chi-town rap sensation Chief Keef was officially released from Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center, after serving a 3 month bid for breaking his probation.

Family and friends greeted the rap star. He was then whisked away, with his daughter Kay Kay by his side, as paparazzi took photos.

Before today, the last time we saw Keef was in December. He was standing in front of a judge, teary-eyed. During those proceedings, Sosa admitted that he needed to do better and that he intended to do better.

Only time will tell if he keeps his word.

DETAILS: A New Man! Chief Keef To Be Baptized After Juvenile Detention

Over here at GlobalGrind, we are big Chief Keef fans and we want nothing but the best for the kid. So we’re gonna help dude out and give him some advice on how to move forward now that he’s a free man.

Check it out below.

Stay away from social media, kid.

Chief Keef has been home for a couple of hours and there is already some controversy swirling around him. Where does the controversy come from? Sigh …Facebook. After being released from jail, Keef posted this message on his Facebook:

“F*ck a TOOKA gang!!! BITCH IM 3 Hunna.”

What’s Tooka gang? Well, according to the SunTimes

“Tooka was the nickname of Shondale Gregory, 15-year-old shot to death at a bus stop at 63rd and St. Lawrence on Jan. 12, 2011 in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

Gregory was a member of a faction of the Gangster Disciples called the St. Lawrence Boys, which renamed itself the Tooka Gang after Gregory was killed, law enforcement sources said.”

The FB post was deleted, but nothing that goes online ever becomes unseen. Keef tweeted this a short time after:

Keef, we love ya brah, but leave social media alone. Over the last year, you have brought unnecessary negative energy to yourself with your Instagram profile (Keef has posted numerous pics of himself holding guns, smoking weed and having sex).

Then there was the infamous Twitter post where he laughed at the death of another rival teenage rapper named Jojo.

Just too much. Chief needs to pull a Chris Brown, and X himself from social media.

Focus on the music.

Positive sign alert: Sosa’s uncle was apparently holding a large bag full of rhymes written while the 17-year-old was in the box. This is great news, and it shows that he hasn’t forgotten how he became Finally Rich. And plus, there’s nothing hip-hop fans like better than a fresh-outta-jail story. Who can forget when Tupac came home in October 1995? Then six months later, he dropped All Eyez On Me. All Eyez On Me went diamond. Keef, you better get to cooking with Bang 2.

Stop burning industry bridges:

Chief Keef’s lack of giving a f*ck has been extraordinary. For the most part, ol’ heads in the industry have been quick to embrace the rapper, yet he has said negative words about everyone from Lupe Fiasco to Kanye West. His worst crime, however, occurred when he didn’t show up to the “Hate Bein’ Sober” set, wasting the time of the song’s two costars, Wiz Khalifa and 50 Cent. Keef can’t keep burning these bridges. He has to act like he cares. If he doesn’t believe us now, just go in a time machine and ask Azealia Banks three years from now.

Go back to promoting the hell out of Finally Rich:

A couple of months ago, financial details of the deal Keef signed with Interscope was released. One of the more interesting details of the deal is that if Finally Rich, Keef’s debut album, doesn’t sell at least 250,000 copies by December of 2013, Interscope can drop the kid, voiding the $6 million dollar contract as well. Obviously, since the teenage rapper has been in jail, Keef hasn’t been able to promote the project like he wanted, and sales have stalled. As of now, the album has sold 144,000 copies. “Hate Bein’ Sober,” the album’s third single, needs to be pushed and Keef might want to think about releasing “Citgo” as a single. That joint is a banger with crossover appeal.

When all else fails, think about Kay Kay.

While looking through Chief Keef’s Instagram, you’ll see the most important person in his life: that would be his incredibly cute daughter Kay Kay. It’s clear Kay Kay is the apple of his eye. He posts picture after picture of his young daughter and he spoils her to death, buying crazy expensive gifts all year around. Keef is from a broken home, so he knows firsthand that he needs to be there for his daughter.
