Call it swag or call it bravado, both guys have known that they were destined for greatness from early on. Rocky recalls being 11 and telling people “I’m gonna make it big, just watch.  I’m’a make it big,” but it wasn’t for another decade when Rocky did in fact make it big enough to release his debut album Long.Live.A$AP to the masses and have it debut at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

Ferg is a bit more modest about his pending success, although with a hit single and video for “Work” off of his upcoming Trap Lord mixtape, we wouldn’t blame him if he was. Instead, Rocky does a great job of promoting Ferg himself by proudly stating that “Ferg’s about to kill the game.”

It’s a long way from “going downtown and crashing parties” like Rocky says A$AP’s original agenda was, but after the A$AP MOB got together under the creative direction of A$AP Yams, the crew became much more recognizable with Rocky as their frontman.
