And if you can’t really find logic in what I’m saying, then I guess you’ve never heard of rapper Logic. See what I did there!

On the heels of his XXL Freshman cover – which was only like a month ago – it’s been circulating that the 23-year-old has already signed a deal with Def Jam.

“I’m excited to take this next step in my career,” said Logic. “It’s incredible for Def Jam and Visionary Music Group to work together and the opportunity to collaborate with a living legend like NO I.D. is priceless. I’m very humbled to be apart of the most iconic hip hop label of all time.”

Yep! He’s also working with No I.D.; the Grammy-Award winning producer will be doing executive production on Logic’s debut album.

With this announcement and “Young Sinatra” dropping his XXL Freshman Freestyle today, we at GlobalGrind felt it necessary for you to become a little more informed about the kid who came from Gaithersburg, Maryland and ventured out into the world of hip-hop.

-Logic also goes by Young Sinatra, but at one point took on the moniker Psychological.

-Even though he’s signed to Def Jam, Logic is part of the Visionary Music Group.

-He also has the Rattpack – which stands for “Real All The Time” – similar to Sinatra’s Rat Pack.
