Hip-Hop is continuing to remember the life and legacy of Beastie Boys member Adam “MCA” Yauch.
Juxtapoz Magazine is continuing the rememberance by interviewing all of the artists responsible for creating the Beastie Boys’ most iconic covers.
In honor of one of the most influential groups in hip-hop history and in remembrance of Adam “MCA” Yauch, Juxtapoz Magazine has created a special June 2013 issue entitled Beastie Boys: A Visual History + Tribute to MCA.
Inside you will find exclusive interviews with the cover artists, sleeve artists, and photographers that created the iconic imagery for every Beastie Boys album since Polly Wog Stew. The talent called upon for this issue include: Haze, Todd James, Mike Mills, Matteo Pericoli, Cey Adams, Arabella Field, World B Omes, Glen E Friedman, Ricky Powell, Bill McMullen, Bruce Davidson, Alex Grey, Kiino Villand, Sunny Bak, and the King himself, Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz.
