Man I tell ya, there’s nothing better than having some quality girl time, and this past week I was able to do just that with my fellow Harlemite, Yandy Smith. I finally met her beautiful son Amare and even did a little shopping with him at one of the cutest baby boutiques I’ve ever been in, You Me and Dupri.
We spoke with the owner Tanza Brown, who enlightened us on what it takes to be a female entrepreneur, and how she made all of her dreams come true by opening up her very own boutique.
Later, we sat on the stoop then strolled the Harlem streets as we reminisced on what it was like growing up in the heart of the ghetto, our beautiful and well cultured hood, Harlem.
We couldn’t resist our urge to try the mussels at the well known French Bistro, Yatenga. Everything was amazing! The owner introduced us to a special cocktail and a new Israeli way to say “cheers” L’Chaim! (to life!)
I love to see my ladies happy and doing their thing.. That’s what it’s all about.. #GIRLPOWER
