It’s been a heckuva month in the Obama White House, from The President delivering the commencement speech at the University of Michigan graduates to Michelle Obama greeting visitors at the Cinco de Mayo reception on the front lawn. It was a trying month for President Obama, the BP oil spill dominated the headlines and the President had to show the American people that he will not stand by and watch this disaster ravish the Gulf coast. So traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana and facing the people of the Gulf Coast, assured many that the Prez will hold BP’s feet to the fire.

Things weren’t all bad, the first lady, Michelle Obama, keep the kids running and jumping as part of her ‘Let’s Move’ initiative. Once on the Rose Garden playing tag with the kids then a couple of days later at Red Rock National Conservation Area in Las Vegas were they stretched and climb mountains.

It was an up and down month for the Obama clan, the Prez found time to ease his worries by taking in a game of basketball and then sat down with sports commentator Marv Albert to talk NBA basket ball and free agent LeBron James. So the month had its good times and bad for the President hopefully next month will be better, this is The Obama Chronicles for May 2010.
