In collaboration with world renowned car designer and head of Volkswagon Group designs, Walter De’Silva, Leica Camera AG has released the limited edition Leica M9 Titanium, an exclusive special edition of an already exclusive Leica rangefinder camera.

With the goal of giving the Leica M camera a more ergonomic, precise and logical feel, all visible metal elements of the camera are composed of solid titanium, topped off with the same leather trim you would see in the interior of an Audi (which De’Silva also happens to design for).

The camera’s grip is additionally enhanced by a special diamond pattern design. It also includes an 18 megapixel sensor, and is compatible with the Leica M-series lens. It will be sold in a set along with the LEICA SUMMILUX-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens. Although the price is still to be decided, the camera is limited to only 500 in the world, so act fast!
