WNBA Player Cappie Pondexter here and happy to report that I will be giving you readers a much needed glance into my world, the world of a WNBA player. A look into the life of a woman with great drive, ambition, passion and an incredible love for fashion. Funny huh? Since most people think fashion and women’s basketball shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breath. Well join me as I take you on a journey through my new home in NYC with the NY Liberty, my life, travels, fab events, my love and involvement with inner city youth and the intricacies of running an image consulting firm… Just a day in the life of someone who’s more than a BALLER!

A little about me:
After spending an amazing and fulfilling four seasons with the Phoenix Mercury, winning two WNBA championships and a USA Olympic gold medal along the way, devising a plan outside of basketball became imperative as the need to fulfill my dreams outside of the league were also important to my personal development. With this in mind, I requested a trade to New York in March of 2010 and began to nurture my second love, Fashion. Just like music, I eat, sleep and breathe fashion. I love the art of it and all the different feels one piece of clothing can provide. So with this dream in hand, I enlisted the help of long time friend, celebrity stylist and business partner, Lisa Smith-Craig and developed an image consulting firm 4seasonstylemanagement.com that caters to athletes, celebs and everyday people looking to develop their specific style and/or image.

Fast forward to present day and there you have it, 5 years in the league and currently in the big apple living both my personal and professional dreams… With everything else in between. Yes, CP23 in a nutshell… well at least some of it.
