Here comes the bride all dressed in…WHAT?!
That’s right, y’all! June Shannon, better known as Mama June, who recently lost a TON of weight, tied the knot this Sunday in a – shall we say…colorful – backyard ceremony at her home in Georgia.
Mama June and her new hubby Sugar Bear weren’t the only ones who opted for interesting ensembles. Their 7-year-old daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, known for her wild personality and TV antics, strut her stuff down the aisle in an orange and hot pink ruffled gown. She accessorized with a little white basket, which she used to toss petals.
The invitations asked guests to refrain from “cell phones, cameras, or outside video taping.” Guests were also reportedly asked to dress accordingly for the event, which meant full-on redneck gear.
Naturally it wasn’t long before Alana lost the fancy get-up and swapped it out for something a little more “Honey Boo Boo.” The pageant-girl was photographed flashing her belly in a little pink tankini as she enjoyed an inflatable waterslide that was set up for wedding guests to enjoy.

We’re happy for Mama June and her long-time love Sugar Bear and love that the reality TV family isn’t afraid to be themselves, no matter the occasion. Mazel Tov!
