We knew Paris Jackson’s suicide attempt didn’t come out of left field, but now it’s being revealed that it was actually a year in the making.
Sources connected to her exclusive private school, Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley, said that Paris was already dealing with major family trauma when the school year began in September.
And according to TMZ, that added family drama all began last July when Katherine Jackson went “missing.”
Based on the timeline, it appears the issue involved Katherine Jackson‘s mysterious “disappearance” last July.
There were reports Michael Jackson‘s siblings were holding Katherine as part of a money grab — something they deny. Paris confronted several of the siblings in a heated argument outside the family’s Calabasas home.
Sources connected with Buckley tell TMZ … when Paris came back to school in September, her grades started dropping and, as one source said, “she stopped caring.”
A school official told one of our sources … what really sent Paris over the edge was when she got an offer to do a movie but certain family members went on an all-out campaign to block it. The source says a school official said, at that point “Paris broke down.”
And as for those reports that the stress from school bullies were also getting to her?
A top school official told TMZ that she was not bullied, and she made the claims to get attention.
Another thing that could have pushed Paris over the edge? Allegations from family friend Wade Robson about Michael Jackson’s alleged sexual abuse.
“Paris felt betrayed,” one Jackson family insider said.
Whatever her reasons, her family is sticking by her side. Just yesterday, Tito Jackson told reporters that the family is coping well and the suicide attempt won’t shake them.
And her mother Debbie Rowe, and aunt, LaToya Jackson, arrived at the hospital to be by Paris’ bedside. Even her brother, Prince Michael Jackson I, went to see her in the hospital, although the two have grown apart in recent months because of Paris’ decision to develop a relationship with their biological mother.
