Apple is a star when it comes to making an entrance with their new products, and today’s news of their iOS updates was no exception, as the team took the stage in front of the largest Apple audience to date.

It’s going down in San Francisco, where Apple CEO Tim Cook took the stage at WWDC. Apple developers from around the world will bear witness to the company’s first product update since the iPad Mini was launched last October.

Here are all the things you need to know about the announcement:

-Anki Drive

There was an Anki Drive game just demoed at WWDC, so expect your games to be going from your iPhone to your living room floor.

-OSX Mavericks

The next version will be known as Mac OS X Mavericks and incorporates folder tagging, and improvements to how the software handles multiple displays including AirPlay integration. The new update also addresses battery life with compressed memory, accelerated scrolling and timer coalescing. All fancy, real fancy.

-Safari gets a new design

Mavericks brings Safari a new sidebar as well as feed of links shared on social networks from within the bookmarks menu.

-MacBook Air

According to TechRadar, there is a new MacBook Air and Apple is promising all day battery life – and it’s built on the new Intel Haswell chip, which is designed for energy efficiency. Nine hours of battery life for the 11-inch MacBook Air and seven hours for the 13-inch.

-iOS 7

This is what we were all waiting for, and it is also what Tim Cook described as the biggest iOS update since the launch of the iPhone. He promised we will “absolutely love iOS7,” and the crowd went wild, actually put their iPhones away, and gave Tim a standing ovation.

The new iOS 7 really is beautiful. It’s supposed to be like getting an “entirely new phone.”

-iTunes Radio

Much like Pandora, with iTunes Radio, users will get a continuous feed of music chosen by the service based on what they’ve listened to and what they’ve purchased on iTunes. And it is all free, free, free with ads of course.

All the iOS 7 changes are set to be rolled out in the fall for us regular folk, and was rolled out today for Apple Developers.
