International super star Lady Gaga is the first performer to be announced for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
Everyone’s looking forward to another show-stopping Gaga performance. In 2011, she had viewers talking after she performed “You And I” as her male alter ego, Joe Calderone.
Gaga will perform her new single at theis year’s VMA’s. The single which is rumored to be titled “Applause,” debuts August 19. The pop singer’s upcoming performance will be the first time she’s hit the stage since undergoing hip surgery earlier this year.
The untitled song is featured on Lady Gaga’s forth album ARTPOP which drops November 11.
MTV’s 30th annual award show airs live on August 25th at 9PM EST at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
