Jennifer Lopez is bringing her Boricua self back to American Idol.

Not only that, but J.Lo is going to be one of the wealthiest judges on reality television!

Jenny from the block and Fox have come up with an agreement; she signed a one-year contract that’s worth at least $15 million – plus bonuses. The contract is less than the $20 million Jennifer made on her second season at the judges’ panel, but will dwarf the $12 million she earned for her debut during season 10.

This is a good move for the “Live It Up” singer. She wanted to stay in L.A. so she and twins (Max and Emme) can get settled in a more permanent home.

A source told Radar Online:

“The twins will enter kindergarten in the Fall and stability is important for them and J.LO at this time. She’s looking for possible schools for the kids in Los Angeles at the moment. Plus, if she’s living in L.A. full-time she will be able to focus on her film career and other ventures, including her fashion business.”

J.Lo’s return is expected to be announced in one to two weeks, along with the announcement that country singer Keith Urban and another unsigned judge will be heading up this season of American Idol.
