The Casio G-Shock has long been acclaimed as not only one of the most durable endurance watches, but also as the timepiece of the stylish ones on the go, and it doesn’t hurt that the brand also knows how to throw a damn good party.
Following a press conference that unveiled the new generation of G-Shock wrist pieces, and the presentation of the first of its kind formal watch, the Metal Twisted G-Shock (MT-G) collection, the after party kicked off with a performance from Yelawolf, but he was just warming the stage for the real honor of the night, Eminem.
The company unveiled a new Detroit-themed, limited edition watch honoring Em – featuring the Detroit skyline on the band – before he hit the stage in a camo jacket and performed hits like “Kill You,” “Criminal,” and “Stan” with former D12 member and producer Mr. Porter by his side, before doing an encore of “Lose Yourself.”
The star-studded crowd featured the likes of Fabolous, Melanie Fiona and the entire cast of the new Netflix hit, Orange is the New Black. Check out the red carpet arrivals below, and check out some Instagram action from the event here, and a short clip of Em performing here.
