North West may be a beauty with olive skin and dark hair, but her mommy Kim Kardashian is now a smokin’ hot blonde.
We haven’t seen much of Kim since she slunk off the radar back in June following the birth of the little beauty North, but now that she’s shed a majority of the baby weight and the world has gotten its first look at Nori, Kim is slowly making her way back into the spotlight.
Kim was spotted debuting her new blonde hair at a friend’s barbecue in Beverly Hills over the weekend. The look features dark roots and very, very light blonde tips. But this isn’t the first time Kim ditched the dark Armenian goddess look. She was rocking a lighter look back in 2012, and has played around with a few wigs (photoed above.)
The look wasn’t on a whim, according to Kim’s colorist George Papanikolas from the Andy LeCompte salon, this is something Kim has wanted to do for some time, and it took 2 visits to the Jenner household to complete it. Kim came ready with photos in hand of how she wanted her new blonde hair to look.
“It’s something she’s wanted to do for a long time. I’ve been coloring her hair for a year, and she’s wanted to go blonder since the day we met,” he tells E! New exclusively. “She was so excited. She loved it!” George shares. “It was scary for me!”
