Nicki Minaj Pays Homage To Queen Latifah On Her Talk Show (VIDEO)

When it comes to female rappers in history, Queen Latifah has definitely made a big name for herself on that list.

The hip-hop mogul recently had Nicki Minaj on her new talk show, where they sat down for a historic discussion that led to the Barbz queen revealing her love for Queen Latifah.

Ms. Latifah first started off by saying:

“I’m sitting here with a female rapper on a talk show started by a female rapper. This is a moment for me.”

Nicki continued by paying her own respects to her for all that she’s done for females in hip hop:

“You’ve opened so many doors for me and so many other women,” she said. “And it’s insane because I always reference you when I talk about female rappers who’ve like kinda paved the way in terms of a businesswoman and mogul and just all around entertainer, and to be sitting here doing your show is just a great moment for hip-hop.”

The full interview doesn’t air until Tuesday, but we know that we don’t want to miss it!
