While most of us are celebrating the new year, prayers are needed for Barbara Bush.
The former First Lady was recently hospitalized in Houston for having a “respiratory-related issue”, but is apparently in great spirits.
According to CNN, a family spokesperson said of her condition:
“She is in great spirits, has already received visits from her husband and family, and is receiving fantastic care.”
The twitter account for KPRC was the first to give alert to Barbara’s illness, but fortunately she should recover smoothly and has lots of love around her.
Bill Clinton even tweeted:
I’ll be rooting for Barbara Bush’s full recovery while she’s rooting for Baylor today. All my best to her and @GeorgeHWBush.

We pray for Barbara and hope she makes a fast recovery!
