Fans of Breaking Bad got some good news today. We just learned that Jonathan Banks signed on to reprise his role as Mike Ehrmantraut in the BRBA spin-off Better Call Saul.

“There’s obviously a danger inherent in doing a spinoff, but I just love the character of Saul Goodman [Odenkirk] so much, and part of me doesn’t want to say no to this world,” Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan told THR in an October cover story, optimistic that many cast members would return. “Personally, I’d have a hard time resisting putting all these guys in for a cameo or two every now and then.”

No other series regulars have been named just yet, but cameos from Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston are still on the table for the series as well.

As for Aaron Paul, the Need For Speed star is taking on a bunch of new roles in his post-Breaking Bad life and he just confirmed more work is in his future. Aaron could be working with Stephen King and Ron Howard on The Dark Tower. Yeah bitch!

“I’ve had a ton of meetings on that,” Aaron recently confirmed about the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King‘s The Dark Tower. “I just had a general sit down with [director] Ron Howard, who is a huge fan of the show, which is such a crazy thing to even think that Ron Howard even knows who I am. They’re definitely planning on making it. I’m excited.”

And lastly in movie news, the latest featurette for The LEGO Movie is actually funny. We wouldn’t judge anyone for going to see this without kids present.

Morgan Freeman, who is one of the stars of The LEGO Movie, also had a pilot he produced picked up by CBS. Deadline reports that Madame Secretary will air on the network.

The drama, written by Barbara Hall, explores the personal and professional life of a maverick female Secretary of State as she drives international diplomacy, wrangles office politics and balances a complex family life. CBS TV Studios is producing with Freeman’s Revelations Entertainment, with the company’s Freeman, Lori McCreary and Tracy Mercer executive producing alongside Hall.

Get that money, Morgie!
