Although there were rumors about the breakup of one of our favorite celebrity couples, Miss Keri Baby is now opening up about exactly what went down between her and Serge Ibaka.
The Jasmine Brand caught up with singer/songwriter Keri Hilson on the red carpet for About Last Night just before Valentine’s Day and asked how she planned on spending the holiday. The brown-skinned beauty surprisingly revealed that she and her NBA hunk Serge Ibaka are pretty much over.
After being asked if she was single, Keri dished on having a new boyfriend:
“This is going to be an interesting Valentine’s Day. That’s all I’ll say. It’s going to be interesting. I’m just busy, I’m busy. I feel like right now, music is my boyfriend. That’s how I feel, right now. So, I don’t know.”
She also gave out some relationship advice:
“My number one relationship advice would be…know who you are. Never drop your standards for anyone. That’s it. And I mean that in every since of the relationship, business, you know whatever. If there’s a certain standard that you uphold and you’re so strong-minded about that. There are some things that you can tweak in a relationship, but not your standard. Not that.”
The good news is that Keri still hasn’t deleted her lovey dovey Serge Instagram photos yet, so maybe there’s still hope!
