There was a lot of action in the City of Lights yesterday, as Chanel took center stage and put on one of the most epic shows of Fashion Month. Karl Lagerfeld proved why he is the man with the fashion plan, when he showed his FW14 collection in a Chanel-themed supermarket.
The shelves were stocked with CoCo Chanel puffs and grocery goods with various Chanel-centric names. Supermarket aside, one special sighting in the show alongside A-list models like Joan Smalls and Cara Delevingne was the up-and-coming Kendall Jenner, who has already made debuts at some of the hottest shows this season, ranging from Marc Jacobs to Givenchy and now Chanel. It’s safe to say she’s with the in-crowd.
Cara was spotted leaving the venue and carrying one of the Chanel market bag props – her hair from the show still intact – as she headed back to her hotel to meet up with Michelle Rodriguez.
Michelle was spotted, well, sorta spotted, making a beeline entrance to Cara’s hotel with her face completely covered in black fabric. All eyes have been on the pair since media outlets alleged Michelle confirmed their friendship was romantic. Maybe a wig and sunglasses will do just fine next time, Michelle.
Anna Wintour was spotted outside of Chanel, clad in her usual tweed from the brand, paired with layered jeweled necklaces.
Rihanna also looked darling in head-to-toe Chanel complete with a fanny pack.
