San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith has found himself in trouble again.

According to USA Today, the player was arrested Sunday after a false bomb report. The incident began when Jones was randomly selected for a second screening at Los Angeles International Airport.

A statement released by Sgt. Karla Ortiz of the LAPD says Smith was selected for secondary screening at the airport. The statement says Smith then became “belligerent and uncooperative with the process and with the TSA agent, making a comment indicating that he was in possession of a bomb before proceeding towards the gate area.”

Officials are questioning if the player was intoxicated during the incident. The player has had trouble in the law in past. In 2012, the player was arrested under suspicions of driving under the influence, September 2013 for a DUI and marijuana possession  and arrested and charged for three felony weapon counts in June 2012.

49ers general manager Trent Baalke released a statement about the situation.

“We are disappointed to learn of the incident today involving Aldon Smith,” Baalke said in the statement. “As this is a pending legal matter and we are still gathering the pertinent facts, we will have no further comment.”

Smith was released from police custody on a $20,000 bond.
