We knew there was something familiar about the Nevada cattle rancher who can’t stop calling African-Americans “negroes.”

When we read that Cliven Bundy, the conservative “patriot” whose racist comments even pissed Sean Hannity off, believed that blacks would be better off as slaves, it sounded a lot like this man:

Yep. Dave Chappelle’s hilariously absurd black white supremacist, Clayton Bigsby.

Problem is, Bigsby, the blind black man who divorced his white wife because she was a “nigger lover,” is a fictional character. Bundy, sadly, is a Republican-backed U.S. citizen.

Scary, yes, but the similarities are too good not to point out. Check it out below:

BUNDY: I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro…”

BIGSBY: “Everybody, I have a lot of things to discuss, mainly nigras!”

BUNDY: “In front of that government house, the door was usually open and the older people and the kids—and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch—they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do. And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do? They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves.”

BIGSBY: “Well, they’re lazy good for nothin’ tricksters… crack-smokin’ swindlers! Big butt havin’, wide nose, breathin’ all the white man’s air!”

BUNDY: Where is our colored brother? Where is our Mexican brother? Where is our Chinese? Where are they? They’re just as much American as we are, and they’re not with us. If they’re not with us, they’re going to be against us.”

BIGSBY: Let’s talk about Chinese people! With their kung-fu and their silly ching-chang-chong talk! We can’t understand you! Go back to yer country! White power!

And last but not least…

BUNDY: “Maybe I don’t know what I actually said, but when you talk about prejudice, we’re talking about not being able to exercise what we think. If I say Negro or black boy or slave, if those people cannot take those kind of words and not be (offended), then Martin Luther King hasn’t got his job done yet,” he told anchor Chris Cuomo on Friday, adding, “We need to get over this prejudice stuff.”

BIGSBY: Don’t let the liberal media tell you how to think and feel! If you have hate in your heart, let it out!

Mind. Officially. Blown.
