Beyonce and Jay-Z are no strangers to the rumor mill, but ever since elevator-gate with Solange went down last month, stories about The Carters’ marital issues have been running rampant.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Queen B performed “Resentment” during her ‘On The Run’ tour stop in Cincinatti, and switched around some of the lyrics. Instead of the singing the original “Been ridin’ with you for six years why did I deserve/ To be treated this way by you,” Bey sang,
“Been ridin’ with you for twelve years why did I deserve/ To be treated this way by you.”
We don’t know for sure if Beyonce was throwing subliminal shade Jay-Z’s way, or just trying to make a statement, but the fact that they’re on tour together…and judging by Bey’s recent uploads on her Tumblr page…everything is just fine in Carter Land.
