Robin Thicke has been riding the “Paula” wave since he announced that his next album, which is dedicated to his wife of 9 years, Paula Patton, as an attempt to repair their strained marriage. Robin went on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning Show to talk about his new album and revealed more about his current relationship with Paula.
I try to keep most of that private, but I haven’t seen her in four months….We’re cool, she’s the best girl in the world, great mother, and still a good friend, but because we weren’t ever together anymore and I still had so much I wanted to apologize for and things I wanted to take responsibility for, so that’s pretty much what the album is about.
He also responded to the question that everyone is asking: How does Paula feel about this album?
Well, she hasn’t heard it. She’s only heard a few songs, and I don’t think she wants to hear it right now. I can’t speak for her, but I think space is an important part of any healing process.
