McDonald’s has a little something special for their pescatarian consumers in Japan.

After their recent meat scandal, Japan’s McDonald’s chain has released a new entrée, Tofu Shinjo McNuggets, available for a limited time only.

On Wednesday, McDonald’s in Japan rolled out Tofu Shinjo McNuggets, a doppelganger of the Chicken McNugget made from a mishmash of minced white fish, tofu and vegetables including edamame, soy beans and carrots. Deep-fried to a golden-brown and shaped just like the original chicken version, the Tofu Shinjo McNugget is crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside.

In the past, the fast food chain has released other interesting delectables like the McRib, McLobster, and the McSpaghetti.

The tofu nuggets will be in stores beginning today until early September. The chain doesn’t plan to release the special nuggets in the States.

With people joining a new health craze everyday, this is sure to be part of someone‘s wacky diet.
