Usher has “No Ragrets.”
None whatsoever, not even regarding his two-year marriage to ex-wife Tameka Foster.
The “U Got It Bad” singer sat down for an interview with O Magazine to dish on his life, getting custody of his sons, and more. Speaking about his ex-wife, Usher opened up:
“Most people probably think I regret it because I ended up getting divorced, but it helped me learn that sometimes I think I know more than I actually do.”
Usher and Tameka went through a nasty divorce, a custody battle, and their oldest son almost drowned at Usher’s house a year after Tamika lost her son Kile in a tragic jet ski accident in Atlanta.
Fast forward to today and Usher is in a better place.
“Everybody’s hanging out on the lawn, drinking out of those plastic cups, eating fried chicken and dancing to loud old-school music,” Usher says. “Sometimes the simpler the celebration, the better.”
