Fall is upon us once again, and you know what that means…
There’s a chill in the air, virtually every product released has a pumpkin spice counterpart, and basic bitches are running rampant. You know the ones: they were first in line when Starbucks released the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the first time the temperature dropped below 75, they broke out the leggings and Uggs, and they’ve already been apple or pumpkin picking – twice.
We get it, we really do. Fall is pretty majestic and it’s easy to get caught up in the basic-ness of it all.
Because we know the line between fan of fall and totally basic is easily blurred, we’ve created a list of all the things basic bitches live for this fall.

Seasonal drinks, duh.
Whether it’s Pumpkin Spice Lattes or Samuel Adams Octoberfest beer, they’re obsessed, and you better believe they’re going to Instagram it.
Apple-flavored things.
Ahh, Pumpkin Spice’s even more basic cousin. Donuts, cider, beer, or pies – you name it, they love it.
Pretending to like football.
They’ll sport their alleged favorite player’s jersey, but couldn’t tell you the difference between a first down and a touch down.
Instagram.
Don’t get us wrong, we’ve done plenty of things for the ‘Gram, but no one loves a good “Insta” more than a basic bitch. Sure signs you’re basic? Your IG feed is currently full of photos of PSLs, fall foliage, and/or selfies in the apple orchard.
Sweater weather.
Because who wouldn’t choose chunky sweaters over tank tops? *Insert Eye Roll*
Flannel.
Yeah, flannel is on-trend this season, but no one loves an oversized flannel more than a basic bitch.
Scarves.
What would their seasonal selfies be if their scarf-game wasn’t strong?
Leggings and brown boots.
This combo is an essential part of the basic bitch uniform.
Halloween.
For basic bitches, Halloween is like Christmas in October. They’ve been counting down to this day all year-long and they’ve always got the best, most Pinterest-worthy costume.
And lastly, Halloween movies.
Yeah, we know. Hocus Pocus is “a classic.”
