Things are still going downhill for Amanda Bynes, and it looks like no matter how she feels, her parents are going to take control of her life – and money.

According to TMZ, the former Nickelodeon star was set to appear in court yesterday to convince a judge that she can make her own rational decisions about her life, but she didn’t show up on time.

The site reports that her parents and their lawyer came to the courthouse around 1:30 PM yesterday, and Amanda was nowhere to be found.

Although the judge formerly ruled that doctors should not force her to stay at a mental facility against her will, her tardiness to the court session impacted the judge’s choice to uphold her parents’ conservatorship.

The site reports:

Amanda said she was going to Ventura Court Friday to wage legal war to end the conservatorship … but the last we saw of her was in Hollywood during lunchtime where she was munching on watermelon.

A lawyer claiming to rep Amanda showed up, but the judge ruled she could not hire him because under the conservatorship she lacked capacity to enter into a binding contract. So the hearing ended even before it began, and the conservatorship stays in place.

Here’s the problem. Amanda is roaming the streets of Hollywood and clearly delusional. She has intense dislike for her parents, so they can’t control or influence her conduct.  It seems it’s only a matter of time before she hurts herself or others.

On Twitter, Amanda is still raising eyebrows, as she has been tweeting ever since her release. Even this morning, she tweeted out a few bizarre statements:

We are keeping Amanda and her family in our prayers, and we hope that she gets the help that she needs.
