Thousands of New York City protesters couldn’t stop NBC’s 82nd annual Christmas In Rockefeller Center tree lighting special last night.
The show went on as scheduled, and celebrities like Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Cyndi Lauper, and Prince Royce joined the celebration.
Mariah Carey, who was dressed as Mrs. Claus, even performed the holiday classic “All I Want For Christmas.”
Beginning on December 15, the “Queen Of Christmas” will have her own special, “All I Want for Christmas Is You: A Night of Joy and Festivity,” at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. The mommy of two will perform five shows to celebrate her favorite holiday.
Unfortunately, if you haven’t bought tickets for her Christmas concert series, you’ll have to buy inflated tickets on a secondary site, because all five shows are sold out.
