If you were a fan of Gilmore Girls back in the 2000’s, then you can understand that the death of Edward Herrmann was tough for star of the show, Alexis Bledel.

The actress, who played Rory, recently reflected on her times with the late actor, who played her grandfather, and told TV Line:

“Ed Herrmann was a wonderful actor and a kind man,” Bledel said in a statement to TVLine. “He was endlessly knowledgeable about theater, TV and film, and would generously share his wisdom or tell stories from a long and rewarding career.”

“I am grateful to him for that, and will miss him tremendously. He loved acting and was the head of our Gilmore family with his strong presence and great sense of humor. May he rest in peace.”

We’re sad to see another legendary actor go.

Taye Diggs is officially a single man, as his divorce has been finalized – and without anyone knowing it.

According to TMZ, the actor and his wife Idina Menzel hadn’t taken action since their separation in December 2013, but Taye filed for a divorce petition in November 2014.

The site reports:

Looks like they hammered out all their issues — child custody and divvying up assets — during the delay … because the divorce was quickly finalized on December 3.

Diggs and Menzel were married for 10 years and have a five-year-old son named Walker.

A source connected to the couple says the break-up has been as amicable as these things can be … and they’ve both remained committed to raising their son together and peacefully.

We’re hoping both Taye and Idina are both doing okay!
