Businessman, CEO of FUBU, and star of the hit show Shark Tank, Daymond John, sat down with BlogXilla at the 11th Annual Hennessy Privilege Awards held in New York at the beautiful Guastavino’s event space.
The Hennessy Privilège Awards are considered Hennessy’s most prestigious honor. The top liquor brand honors those individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the community through their tireless leadership and service.
This year, Hennessy honored Daymond John. Before receiving his award, Daymond chatted it up with us about his rise to wealth, saying he hit rock bottom when he was working for Red Lobster and serving all the people he used to laugh at when he wanted to be the cool kid, and they went off to college. What’s more, he talked about running out of money, revealing he had to shut FUBU down three times.
