The CBS network has suspended Anthony indefinitely following his arrest yesterday evening. USA Today reports:

 Greg Anthony has been suspended indefinitely by CBS following his arrest on solicitation charges.

A CBS spokeswoman says “Greg Anthony will not be working again for CBS this season.” Turner Sports also suspended the TV commentator and says it “will have no further comment.”

Greg Anthony, a sportscaster for CBS, has reportedly been arrested for suspicion of soliciting a prostitute yesterday evening in Washington, D.C.

According to the Associate Press, the 47-year-old has been charged for the act, and was released by police earlier this morning. If he is sentenced for the charge, he faces up to 180 days in jail.

Anthony started his career in sports broadcasting in 2002, after he left the NBA. Since being drafted in 1991, he’d played for the Knicks, Grizzles, Supersonics, and Trail Blazers.

The details behind the arrest are unclear at this time, but we will keep you updated with the latest.
