After a lot of controversy surrounding her impending Grammy performance, Beyonce hit the stage tonight, and introduced Common and John Legend‘s “Glory” duet without a hitch.
Though we’re used to seeing Bey twerk sum’n in a sparkling bodysuit, the worldwide superstar – who took home the Grammy for Best R&B performance – tapped into her angelic side for a haunting rendition of “Take My Hand, Precious Lord.”
With a full choir at her side, Bey took us to church, just before John Legend appeared on stage sitting at a piano, with Common at the mic, front and center for the award-winning Selma song.
