We can always count on Rico Love to come through to bless us with some feel-good vibes in his music, and he’s making sure to do so for the heartbroken this time.
After releasing the official music video to his track “Somebody Else” earlier this year, the hit-maker is back with a stripped-down version of the song, as he performs it for an enthusiastic crowd.
Spreading his vocals over the heart-pouring track, which has a much more slowed-down sound, the new visuals give a new flavor to the song.
VIBE originally released the video, as Rico explained the concept behind the video:
“This started off as a simple rehearsal and then I told Blackwood (my creative director) to invite some girls over and order some champagne. We turned it into a party,” he recently told VIBE. “This is how I feel whenever I perform my music – like I’m having a party. Even though this song is sad and honest, I still want to express how much I love what I do and share it with people who can appreciate it. I’m very serious about my career and I work hard at it, and I know that I’m blessed to be able to do what I love and I never want to take the fun out of it.”
