The Rihanna reign is picking back up as fans await her next album, and it’s not going to let up anytime soon.
The 27-year-old Bajan beauty has landed the cover of another publication, this time for V Magazine, and she is paying some homage to the vintage pop music past.
Sporting a full blonde wig, along with some neon blue eye shadow, RiRi gives us a 70’s summer feel as she bears some skin for the cover, as well as hanging out poolside in the spread, which were all shot by Steven Klein.
While fans are still impatiently hoping that her R8 album will drop any day now, Rihanna explains the delay in the issue, stating that she’s actually working on two new albums:
I didn’t actually take time off. The past two years are the hardest I’ve ever worked. I’ve been working on two albums, an animated film, shooting for multiple magazines, designing for Puma and Stance [socks], a new line of fragrances, a summer tour, I launched my first annual Diamond Ball at the end of last year, and I’ve also been developing several projects to be revealed in the near future.
We can definitely look forward to a whole lot of new music in the future, which will accompany her new “James Joint” snippet that dropped today.
