Roof’s Uncle Says He Would Execute the Shooter Himself

Dylann Storm Roof’s family has been under scrutiny as people try to figure out what would prompt him to commit such a heinous crime. Still in shock and disgusted by the incident, Roof’s uncle recently shared his thoughts on the situation. “The whole world is going to be looking at his family who raised this monster,” said Carson Cowles. “I’d be the executioner myself if they would allow it.” Roof’s mother claimed that the 21-year-old kept to himself and that she “never raised him to be like this.” Read more.

Roof Planned Shooting for Months

According to reports, Dylann Storm Roof had been planning the Emanuel AME Church massacre for months. His roommate, Dalton Tyler, recently gave an inside look into Roof’s life during an interview. “He was big into segregation and other stuff,” said Tyler. “He said he wanted to start a civil war. He said he was going to do something like that and then kill himself.” He also mentioned that Roof’s parents gifted him with a gun for his birthday. One of Roof’s other friends, Joseph Meek Jr., said that he recently went on a racist rant in public. “He said blacks were taking over the world. Someone needed to do something about it for the white race,” said Meek. “He said he wanted segregation between whites and blacks.” Read more.
