NFL star Devon Still shared an emotional goodbye with his daughter Leah before heading off to training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals yesterday. After a series of kisses and a pretty epic handshake, Devon told Leah to “hold it down” for him while he’s gone.
Leah, who has been struggling to beat pediatric cancer for the past year, went into remission in March. In more positive news, Devon shared Leah’s most recent neuroblastoma scans with Instagram, which he received on his way to camp. The scans came back clean, inspiring Devon to post #GoingIntoThisYearWithAClearMind.
And even on testing days, Leah still has a smile on her face. She’s become an inspiration to us all, and most importantly, a blessing to her father. Devon posted this adorable Instagram of Leah, writing, “idky but I always get a little nervous on these days.”
These two are freaking adorable. We hope Leah stays healthy, and Devon stays positive. #LeahStrong
