This will probably never happen, but the gesture is cute.

Amid messy Mariah Carey divorce reports, Nick Cannon headed across the pond to kick it with UK hip-hop enthusiast Tim Westwood. During their 12-minute interview, Cannon discussed being single, UK strip club culture, and battling Eminem for $100,000.

“I’m still ready. I’m trying to find him,” he said. “We gonna be out in the States for the BET Awards. I’m holding a $100,000 battle. Whoever wants it, but it has to be someone who can put up 100 grand.”

“I done reached out to Tyga, he didn’t want it. I went to all Slaughterhouse. I did it like Mortal Kombat. I said, I’ll take all of them out to get to the boss,” he continued. “Tim, hip-hop needs this.”

There’s so many reasons why Eminem would never battle Cannon, but he can’t stop challenging the Detroit veteran. Back in 2009, the two exchanged jabs after Mariah Carey released “Obsessed,” which mocked Em for allegedly being “obsessed” with her. While Eminem claims the two were once lovers, Carey denies she was ever an item with the Shady emcee.

Cannon repeatedly blasted Eminem in the media and even threatened to slap him but like teflon, Eminem couldn’t be scratched. Em eventually clapped back at Nick and Mariah on a scathing diss track titled “Warning Shot.” Since then, everyone’s chilled out, but it seems Nick likes picking old scabs.
